Description:
Certain Axis camera models configured with 4K resolutions (2840×2160 or higher) do not display the selected resolution in the Resolution drop-down menu within the Exacq client on Linux systems. Although the resolution field appears blank in the user interface, the camera continues to operate and record correctly at the configured 4K resolution.
This issue occurs only when the highest resolution is selected and affects specific camera models and firmware versions. Lower resolutions display correctly in the drop-down menu.
NOTE: This is a Client Issue.
Tested Version:
Client Version: “25.1.8.0”
Server Version: “25.1.10.0”
Platform:
Operating System: Linux Ubuntu 22.04.4
Steps to Reproduce:
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Connect a supported Axis camera to the Exacq system.
- Navigate to Camera Settings in the Exacq client.
- Change the Resolution drop-down selection to the highest available resolution (2840×2160 or higher).
- Save the configuration.
- Observe that the resolution field appears blank in the drop-down menu, despite the setting being saved.
Expected Result:
The Selected camera resolution should be displayed correctly in the Resolution drop-down menu after saving the configuration.
Actual Result:
When the highest (4K) resolution is selected, the Resolution drop-down menu does not display the configured value. Selecting a lower resolution causes the correct value to appear. The camera continues to record correctly at the selected 4K resolution despite the UI display issue.
