In order to comply with the NDAA “National Defense Authorization Act”, a two-step process is required to update an M-Series. First you must upgrade to version 20.03, then the server and webserver can be upgrade to the latest version. exacqVision Client versions higher than 20.03 are not supported.
- Install or upgrade exacqVision Server, exacqVision Client and exacqVision Web Server to version 20.03
- Upgrade exacqVision Server and exacqVision Web Server to version 21.09.
Note: The exacqVision Client version should not be updated past version 20.03
Upgrade Paths
Local Client – 20.03 only
Server – 20.03 > 21.09 or above
Web service – 20.03 > 21.09 or above

Description
Certain models of Illustra cameras, on connection, may cause server to stop streaming from all other Illustra cameras.
Steps to reproduce
- Add a ISL02P6OCWTT, firmware 0.0.0.15 (Local for Local camera that doesn’t comply with NDAA)
Expected result
- all supported illustra3 cameras continue to record
Actual result
- all illustra3 cameras stop recording (plugin’s read thread exit)
Work Around
- upgrade the camera to firmware version 0.0.0.20
