The List Search feature gives a user another fast method for searching recorded video associated with events.
List Search summarizes the results of a search into an easy to review list. Each row displays a thumbnail of video associated to motion, alarm, or point of sale events.
Learn how the Thumbnail Search provides a graphical way to display recorded video to help you to quickly find a recorded incident without scrubbing a timeline or playing back long periods of video to find what you want to see.
By far the most common search method is that of the Timeline Search, in which you may search for data from one or many devices displayed on a timeline along the bottom of the page.
Colors indicate the type of video recorded, whether continuous, motion recording, or event triggered recording. Use the playback controls to scrub the timeline for incidents of interest.
Search for analytic data and events, or serial data as well to narrow your search.
Using the Serial Ports page allows you to configure your ExacqVision system to receive serial data from Point of Sale (POS) devices, ATMs, access control devices, and more over UART or serial over IP connections.
Learn more about the address, ports, and protocols used for these tasks.
The Serial Profiles page allows you to configure how the serial data received is displayed as well as create rules to mask data, replace strings, or create keywords used to trigger system actions.
Dive into understanding how trigger inputs and alarm outputs work. Become familiar with TTL logic and how to configure devices such as switches or buttons, door contacts, or PIR motion sensors as inputs or triggering outputs to activate lights or more based on events or user input.
Trigger Input and Output Alarms help you utilize the ExacqVision system to interact with the physical world around you.
Configuring your Auto Export settings allows you to create profiles which can be utilized by Event Linking to trigger automated file exports, or burning CD/DVDs, on your chosen activity, such as a trigger input, a serial data keyword, access control event, and more.
Learn to use the embedded RTSP Server to provide video streams to external services.
Use the System Information page to view detailed information on system usage, logged in accounts, plugin information, as well as search system, login, and audit trail logs.
