Get acquainted with the numerous server configuration settings available through the Configure System page in ExacqVision.
The Configure System page features a large number of tabs to navigate between system settings.
The System tab displays the license status, number of IP devices licensed for the system, the MAC address and serial number, and controls to enter or import the license key. Additionally, customize the system name, global control timeouts and choose to export system configuration for safe keeping or importing a backup configuration.
Use the Date/Time tab to configure the server’s time settings, including whether or not to utilize an external NTP service.
The Network tab is where you may configure the IP settings for the network interfaces on the system. Select between dynamically assigned IP addresses or static address and set any static IPs needed.
Connect your ExacqVision system to an Active Directory or LDAP server to take advantage of managing user accounts from your directory service.
Apply ExacqVision Server updates and view version and update information on the Update tab.

The Camera Recording page with the ExacqVision Client can quickly provide a high-level overview of the status of all your system cameras from a single page.
Use the page to easily compare important camera settings, such as frame rate, resolution, firmware versions, and connection status. You may also apply several settings changes to multiple cameras at once from this page.
Create user accounts on the system to control and know which users are active on your system. You may create user accounts from scratch or query a connected Active Directory/LDAP service to bring in an account from your directory.
Establish login security rules to restrict times the user(s) may access the system, or create custom user privileges and permissions to control what they have access to see and do on the system.
This video will introduce you to the controls available on the Storage page, which allow you to monitor the health and control which drives are written to.
Gain an informed understanding of the Expiration Configuration settings and the retained amount of data stored on your system.
Use the Extended tab to optionally connect to a networked iSCSI storage device to expand your total amount of recording capacity.
Learn to use the Schedule page to configure the times each type of data will be recorded.
Set up ExacqVision Event Monitoring to create live Client-side actions such as automatically changing Live focus to cameras with activity, automatically change views on events, or make users acknowledge specific events.
Event Linking gives you the power to create automated actions based on your selected events. Sending email notifications when motion is detected, activate an alarm output when an input trigger is detected, automatically export a video clip when a button connected to an input is pressed, turn a PTZ camera to a preset point if motion is detect on another camera, and much more… a wide variety of combinations can be achieved.
For those with a desire to listen to audio or utilize two-way audio to speak to those on site, follow along to learn about configuring your ExacqVision audio inputs and outputs, whether they are analog devices connected directly to your server or IP devices connected across your network.
The List Search feature gives a user another fast method for searching recorded video associated with events.
List Search summarizes the results of a search into an easy to review list. Each row displays a thumbnail of video associated to motion, alarm, or point of sale events.
