Description

Motion events are not being received by exacqVision.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Update to Server 23.06 on a new set up with camera’s UniView NONE Branded IPC3618SB-ADF28KM-10 using firmware GIPC-B6203.10.6.NB.230515

Expected Results

Motion should work with 23.06 set up with Onvif Plugin.

Actual Results

Camera’s GUI shows motion events and we do not receive them.

Solution

Confirmed that 23.09 will allow the motion events to record and be seen in live view of exacqVision.

Avigilon H4A Multi-Sensor Camera s will not connect and are returning an OnvifnvcPI SOAP receive error.

Arecont cameras are not recording motion on server version 22.12

Description:

Arecont cameras are not recording motion, and the motion tab is not showing on the cameras settings page

The name of the camera is changing to AVCoster-Contera

Resolution:

The fix for the issue has been implemented on Version 22.12.115

Are All ONVIF-conformant Cameras Compatible with ExacqVision Systems?

The streaming profile of ONVIF (Profile S) provides a standard interface for streaming video and audio between conformant devices (cameras or encoders) and clients (VMS). The ExacqVision VMS is listed as an ONVIF Profile S-conformant client.

Extensive testing with a wide variety of ONVIF Profile S-conformant cameras has revealed enough inconsistency that Exacq does not explicitly declare support for all Profile S cameras for use with ExacqVision. Only the IP cameras listed in the Exacq IP Camera Integration database are officially compatible and supported for use with ExacqVision. Cameras not listed in the camera database should not be considered compatible with ExacqVision, even if they are Profile S-conformant.

If you are interested in using an ONVIF Profile S-conformant camera that is not listed in our camera database, please submit an integration request on the IP camera integration web page by clicking “Can’t Find Camera?”

Pixelated Video on Bosch ONVIF Cameras

If live video from a Bosch ONVIF camera displays pixelization in exacqVision Client, complete the following steps:

  1. Browse to the camera’s advanced mode Encoder Profile page.
  2. Ensure that IP is selected in the GOP Structure drop-down list.
  3. Ensure that the I-frame Distance slider is configured for a low number (10, for example).
  4. Ensure that I-frame Quality and P-frame Quality are set to Auto.
