Introduction
Pelco’s release of firmware version 3.29 for the Sarix Professional Series has disabled the creation of motion masks in exacqVision 6.2.
Exacq recommends that you do not upgrade to Pelco firmware version 3.29.

Process to fix issue
If you have already upgraded the firmware, use the camera’s web configuration page to define motion windows. exacqVision will continue to receive motion events after this has been completed.

Create “/mnt/auto/CF/vadp” failed
Upload module failed
Upload VADP package failed
<br>
This is caused by the camera’s inability to create the default folder on the SD card.
If this occurs, complete the following steps:
- Remove the SD card and install it into another machine.
- Navigate to the SD card’s root.
- Create a directory with the name “vadp.”
- Reinstall the SD card into the camera and continue with the installation.

This issue occurs more often if the S2 and exacqVision systems are connected on the same LAN, and it is caused by the way Internet Explorer 8 handles exacqVision JavaScript.
To avoid the error message, upgrade to S2 Release 4.1, Build 453 firmware, which is available from S2. Alternatively, you could connect to S2 using the Mozilla Firefox browser.

To find a camera that has been powered up for 20 minutes or more, restart the camera to reset the timer.
