Cloudvue Gateway Camera Integrations

Description

Traditionally Cloudvue has focused on individual API integrations for cameras connecting to the Cloudvue Gateway. However, there are just too many camera manufactures to integrate with each. So, except for Illustra and Axis we rely on integrating with ONVIF Profile-S compliant cameras.

Customers that would like a specific API camera integration should submit their requests online at https://www.cloudvue.io/support-camera-integrations. The request will be reviewed, and feedback provided.

exacqVision S2 OVID Driver for Linux Fails to Install

Description

The exacqVisionOVID.deb file available at https://exacq.com/reseller/exacqVisionOVID.deb fails to install on both Ubuntu Linux 18.04 and 20.04.

Steps to Reproduce

Download https://exacq.com/reseller/exacqVisionOVID.deb
Run the command dpkg -i exacqVisionOVID.deb

Expected Results

The OVID package installs successfully

Actual Results

The install fails with the following error.

Solution

Run the following commands. NOTE: ./cfgedit still fails to work but caja can be used to edit ovid.ini

sudo dpkg –add-architecture i386
sudo apt update
sudo apt install zlib1g
sudo apt –fix-broken install
sudo dpkg -i exacqVisionOVID.deb
sudo ./cfgedit
- ./cfgedit: error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
- use caja instead to edit ovid.ini
sudo caja
- navigate to /usr/local/exacq/ovid
- directly edit the ovid.ini file

Lenel Onguard Displays Yellow X Instead of Live Video

Issue

Within Lenel Onguard software, a yellow X is being displayed instead of live video.

This was being caused when trailing spaces were present in the camera names within exacq.

Solution

Find the cameras with the yellow X in Onguard
Find the same cameras in exacqVision
Delete trailing spaces from the camera names
In Onguard System Administration
Right click on EV Server, select “Import from recorder”
Remove the camera from the imported list
Right click on EV Server, click “Download”
Right click again and select “Import from recorder”
Add the camera back to the list.

Cameras should now display video as expected

C-Cure Integration License

In order to fully integrate with C-Cure 9000 Versions 2.80 or later an additional license is required. The license can be requested from the CCURE’s licensing system via part number CC9WS-EXACQMON. After proper application, this license will show up in the CCURE “Licensing” application as “Exacq Analytics for CCURE 9000”.

Changes made to Entrapass connection parameters in exacqVision client are ignored

Symptom

Once successfully connected to an Entrapass server, changes to any connection parameters (IP address, port, username, password) are ignored. The connection will continue to attempt connection using the prior settings.
