The steps described below are legacy instructions and have been superseded. Use the Exacq Kiosk User software to create kiosk user accounts and select whether or not a kiosk user account will automatically login.

LEGACY
Changing the default login for Windows:
- Open the Start menu and type “run.” Press Enter. This opens the Run window.
- Type “control userpasswords2” and press Enter. This opens the User Accounts window.
- On the Users tab, select Users Must Enter a Username and Password to Use this Computer and click Apply.
- Deselect the same option and click Apply again.
- When asked which account you would like to log in with, enter the username and password for the desired account. Click OK.
- Restart the computer and ensure that the default login has been changed.
