Note: This KB contains the information found in KB 24844, as well as additional information.
Based on a customer request ,the following steps document how to disable all logging in Apache:
- Use a text editor to open the Apache configuration file.
– Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\exacqVision\WebService?\Apache\conf\httpd.conf.
– Linux: /etc/evapache/httpd.conf - Find the following line in the Access log
– CustomLog “logs/access.log” common - Add a hashtag/pound sign at the start:
– #CustomLog “logs/access.log” common - Find this line in the Error log
– ErrorLog “logs/error.log” - Add a hashtag/pound sign at the start:
– #ErrorLog “logs/error.log” - Save the file and restart the exacqVision Web Service.
Note: Depending on the user’s SSL configuration, the above steps may need repeated in the httpd-ssl.conf file.
