QueryMACAddresses – retcode PHYSICAL_IF_IOCTL_OPENERROR
The Engineering team has not fully understood why this error occurs. We may be issuing commands to a get MAC address and link speed to virtual adapters where they are not supported. But if the customer is able to see all attached network interfaces and their MAC addresses in the client, this error does not indicate any malfunction.

Error Failed to get Characteristics registry value
When we enumerate network adapters from the registry, we look at the values of the “\Characteristics\” key to determine whether an adapter is physical or virtual. There is one adapter which does not have this key and that is almost always at index 0.
This error does not indicate any malfunction.

Transform failure on send ***
Communication failure while sending config information to a Client.
Can be due to a corrupted installation or anti-virus.

This indicates the Client connected to the server, saw the service, and the authentication failed.
This has been known to come up on extremely slow connections as well, or on systems with a very restrictive antivirus. Can also appear frequently if the Web Service is attempting to connect with incorrect login information.
