If the main server, you are setting up to connect to an archiving target on a s-series is joined to a domain there is a local group policy that needs to be configured or you will get a disconnected status ad error 86 invalid password in the server logs

The archive job cannot find file specified, likely because it has been removed.
This can happen if there is a short retention period for recorded video. When the archive job starts, the file is present and queued up for processing, but by the time the job actually gets to that file, it has been removed.
Powershell version 2.0 or greater required
On a Windows machine, the Archiving plugin uses Powershell for iSCSI integration. Powershell is either not installed or is an older version.

Failed to connect NFS share \%1\%2\%3 – share name *** not found on ***
%1 = IP address of NFS share. %BR% %2 = NFS share name. %BR% %3 = Server name. %BR% The NFS archive target was not found at that location.
Could not find iscsi initiator service: open-iscsi.
On a Linux machine, this indicates that the package “open-iscsi” is not installed. Since our software uses this to initiate iSCSI connections, the Extended tab will be missing from the Storage configuration page.
