ACTi A86 Connection Status Device Not Responding

Description 

Customer have reported that the Acti A86 Camera will show a Device not Responding error on the Add IP Cameras page in the Exacq Client. However the camera is actually connected and recording just fine.

Steps to Reproduce 

Add a camera to the Client as Acti plugin.
Camera will connect briefly and then drop to device not responding error.

Added Camera as ONVIF plugin and camera will connect properly.

Expected Results 

The status should remain as connected.

Actual Results 

The camera will connect at first and then drop status to Device Not Responding however the camera is viewable in live view and is recording.

Solution

At this time we suggest to use the Plugin of Onvif to ensure proper connection. Make sure if you are using Motion for recording that you double check the web interface of the camera and make sure that Motion is enabled.
