Illustra Camera Fails to Add with Error Message “certificate has expired”

Description

This error has been observed when adding illustra cameras to a Cloudvue Gateway.

Product

  • Cloudvue Gateway

Steps to Reproduce

  • Add device cloudvue.com Settings> Devices
  • Scan for or Add Device by IP

Expected Results

  • Camera adds normally

Actual Results

  • Camera Save Failed message appears
  • Details show “certificate has expired”

Solution

  • Camera set to use Enhanced Security
  • Factory default the camera and set Security Mode to Standard
