Android and iOS Exacq Mobile 3 app View Creation views are showing video from the wrong camera periodically

Description 

The Exacq Mobile 3 application is encountering an issue when creating a view and switching from one view to the other in the mobile app causing the views to pull up the wrong cameras associated with that view periodically.
Note: Server side views work properly. Only (mobile app created views) are exhibiting this behavior.

Product 

  • Exacq Mobile 3, version 22.03.1.0

Steps to Reproduce 

  1. Create a single camera view in the mobile app
  2. Navigate to a single pane view of some other camera
  3. Navigate to the view you created.
  4. Notice that the view hasn’t changed as expected.

Expected Results 

The app should be able to switch between views that are created from the app with no issue.

Actual Results 

The wrong views are presented in the app periodically.

Work Around

Option 1– Create groups for each view that has the same cameras in the group as the view and select the individual group rather than the view.
Option 2– After picking a view and you want to cycle to the next view, long click the screen and Choose Cancel All; then pick your next view.
Option 3– You can create temporary Client side view for them to you in the mobile app. This might be the easiest option for a work around at this time.

Solution

Update to Exacq Mobile 3, version 22.06 or higher

Description 

If you are using Let’s Encrypt with HTTPS Redirect enabled the auto renewal can provide random internal IP addresses that fail to renew.

Product 

WebService 20.06.2.0 to current 22.03.02.0

Steps to Reproduce 

Engineering was able to Reproduce this behavior and determined that Redirect should be disabled until this is resolved.

Expected Results 

Renewal should work with HTTPS redirect enabled.

Actual Results 

Auto Renewal Fails.

Solution

If Auto Redirect is enabled then disabled it. Make sure to apply this and restart the services.
A fix will be available in the 22.06 release

EM 22.03.2.0 issue with Passwords for Email Accounts not being saved in Data Base.

Description 

On new installs of EM version 22.03.2.0 the passwords for emails settings to do not save to the DataBase.

Product 

EM 22.03.2.0

Steps to Reproduce 

  • Install exacqVision Enterprise Manager version 22.03.2.0
  • Set up Emails settings and apply password in EM settings.
  • Tested email with a IP camera disconnect.
  • Logs Seen in the WebServer EM logs:

Expected Results 

Once you enter the password and hit apply it should save the password.

Actual Results 

The Password is not saved to the database.

Solution

Roll back to version 22.03.1.0 or wait until the 22.06 release in June.
