Some Arecont IP cameras have an Extended Motion Detection feature that offers more granularity to the motion-detection grid. This feature is supported in exacqVision Server version 4.7.1.27101 and later.
To enable the feature for use with exacqVision systems, complete the following steps:
- Open the camera’s configuration web page.
- Open the Motion_detector window.
- Select Enable Extended Motion Detection and Enable Motion Detector.
- Open the Administration window.
- Click Save All Settings to Flash.
- In exacqVision Client, open the IP Cameras page of the server that the camera is connected to.
- In the IP Camera List, disconnect and reconnect the camera.
